Nadar to Run Again

5 minutes ago my boyfriend told me nadar was running again. i thought he was joking.

hate is a very strong word. maybe i don't hate him, but i do think he has gotten to be one of the most self-centered, selfish human beings on the planet and i am thouroughly nauseated by him. i'd like to kick him in the shin, or pinch him on the underside of his arm, hard.

i'm all for having choices. a bunch of choices. i agree that the two party system pretty much no longer works. *however* there is a TIME for this taking this stuff on and THAT TIME IS NOT NOW. was 2000 not enought for you nadar? if obama gets the nomination, and it looks like he will, do you really want to risk taking some of the independent vote from him and have mccain in the white house!! really?! do you?

the republicans must be laughing gleefully in their homes this fine sunday. either that or they're all calling nadar to say "thank you."

ug.

a great article via the WSJ via my friend marie. the opening sums up the current state of affairs rather nicely, doesn't it?

Agonistes: found as an epithet following a person's name, means 'the struggler' or 'the combatant'.

the "momentum" continues

so another two for obama.

you keep hearing that word, momentum, everywhere in regards to senator obama's campaign. interestingly enough, a few months ago my company was in a pitch, and we were talking about the concept of momentum being something that can actually be measured.

the story (as i heard from my boss) was from the days when reagan was campaigning for president. you could measure momentum not by asking people who they were voting for, but by asking them who they thought would win the election.

i would say there are a good number of hillary supporters out there that now think that obama is going to win.

cnn also had some interesting charts on how obama is carving his way into hillary's support base. here's some ghetto screen grabs from cnn, you can see the full video here. hillary needs to change it up. more on that later.

i'm starting this here blog purely our of frustration. i do not promise it will be well-balance, or even, well-written. i simply must have a place to spew about the shit-show that is the democratic primaries.
